TDN

Small-Caps Analyst

Tony, most well known as TDN, began his day trading journey in 1997 after leaving his position as a Series 7 representative at Graystone Nash Investment Bankers.

For Tony, it’s been a long, wonderful, and at times arduous journey through the dot-com bubble of the 1990s, the 2008 housing crisis, and subsequent market gyrations, during which he primarily traded mid- to large-cap stocks and options. It wasn’t until 2011 that he began trading penny stocks, drawn by the higher ROI potential in the space, though he acknowledges the added risk involved.

Tony believes risk management is half the battle and requires discipline. He focuses on finding runners before they happen. At Trend Analytics, he shares his insights on how to trade high-volume movers and buying pullbacks using price action analysis, Darvas theory, and live interpretation of candles and volume.

Tux

Small-Caps Analyst

Eddie, known as Tux, is an analyst at Trend Analytics and has been trading since 2012, transitioning to full-time trading in 2018.

Over the years, he has experience trading various derivatives, including options and crypto, but has found his groove in scalping and day trading US equities.

Eddie specializes in extended-hours trading, focusing on the volatile period between 4am and 9am. His strategy involves locking in gains early, allowing him to spend the rest of the day boulder climbing and spending time with his family before returning to the markets for power hour between 3pm and 4pm.

Diana

Small-Caps Analyst

Diana is a former lawyer with a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy. Based in the Czech Republic, she is a devoted mother to a 10-year-old son who dreams of becoming an NHL hockey player, while pursuing her passion for charting and identifying bottom plays in the market.

Her trading journey began in 2006 with passive investing, but after losing her account during the 2008 financial crisis, she took control and began actively trading. After experiencing both major wins and losses, she realized momentum trading did not fit her lifestyle and rebuilt her approach. Through years of charting and research, Diana developed a reliable swing trading system focused on identifying stock bottoms.

Today she is an analyst at Trend Analytics, where she shares her swing trade ideas to help others learn and grow alongside her.

Joyfulwood

Community Educator

Josh, most well known as Joyfulwood, lives in New Brunswick, Canada, and worked in call centers for nearly 20 years in various tech support roles. A few years ago, he transitioned into the world of stocks, and with the help of Trend Analytics, he has now become a successful trader and continues to thrive. Now, he helps others following the same path and proudly serves with the team that helped him get there.

Josh likes to relate stocks to his hobbies, such as video games, food, and television. He’s found that he learns best with humor, so as an educator of trading, he incorporates that same approach into his teaching style.

At Trend Analytics, Josh’s main role is educating, motivating, and day trading. In all three, he looks for the lows and helps others on their way up.
